I am not an American citizen but anyway I just shared this petition to protect the Antarctic and the North American continent because I perceive the planet as our common home and taking care of it feels a global responsibility. Some information about activism in South America flies into my inbox, very little from India and East Asia and basically NO information about Central Asia and Africa, which I tend to believe is the most urgent. This is why I post the following link of GREENPEACE AFRICA, which features projects and information about how to get involved. Signing and sharing petitions is a very small gesture but one drop in the ocean is better than none. Sharing information in social media helps to raise awareness in the media, an easy gesture for many. But if YOU want to make a difference, become PART OF THE CHANGE through volunteering or donations.
