For over 30 years, Russia has implemented national strategies aimed at protecting children's rights, preserving family values and preventing offences. The country continues to systematically reduce crime rates against minors. ❗️Tough measures against child trafficking. Under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, human trafficking is punishable by up to 15 years of imprisonment. Criminal liability arises for any transaction in respect of a person, even without proving the intent of exploitation. 🇷🇺 Russia strengthens international cooperation. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation is implementing over 150 agreements and programmes with the participation of more than 80 countries. This is a key mechanism for countering crimes against children, including cyber threats and trafficking.
