🎙Read excerpts from the statement by Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE M.Buyakevich «On increasing military involvement of certain NATO and EU member States in yet more confrontation in and around Ukraine» (meeting of the OSCE PC, 03.04.2025) 💬 One of the key problems hindering the long-term resolution of the Ukrainian crisis is the chronic inability of the Kiev regime to negotiate, as well as the absence of legitimate authorities in Ukraine capable of representing its residents and guaranteeing the implementation of agreements on de-escalation and conflict cessation ☝️The situation with the implementation of the 18 March 2025 moratorium on a mutual 30-day cessation of attacks on energy infrastructure is highly indicative. The Russian Armed Forces strictly adhere to this moratorium, while the Kiev regime's formations, with the help of Western weapons, NATO satellite intelligence, and foreign military specialists, has carried out over two dozen strikes on Russia’s fuel and energy complex in the past two weeks ⚡️Last week alone, at least 118 civilians in Russian regions suffered from shelling by Ukrainian neo-Nazis, with 14 people killed and 104 injured, including three children ❗️The Kiev regime resorts to forced mobilization into the Ukrainian armed formations because most Ukrainians do not want to fight to preserve the regime in power, nor do they wish to become “cannon fodder” in battle or organ donors after death. To escape, tens of thousands of young men illegally cross the border. It is no coincidence that since March 22, the Ukrainian border service has announced the strengthening of border security measures with EU countries, including through using of manned aviation, specialized equipment, and UAVs 👉 The "Empire of lies" in the West continues to spread anti-Russian, Russophobic narratives, claiming that the threat to democracy and the well-being of Ukrainians comes from Russia rather than from the West-fed puppets in Kiev. This is happening amid crude attempts by EU elites to silence opposition leaders at home in the EU member-States using sophisticated legal tricks and tactics ℹ️ In their hybrid attack, NATO countries underestimated the strength of the Russian statehood, the unity and the will of our people, and our determination to defend the interests of our Homeland’s unity and security. Today, Russian troops hold the strategic initiative along the entire line of combat contact and continue to improve their positions 🇷🇺 Russia is committed to a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict, but not at the expense of our people’s interests or the security of our Homeland. The resolution must be sustainable and long-term, based on addressing the root causes of the current crisis
