🎙Read excerpts from the statement of Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE A.Volgarev «On the Report by the Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek and the Director of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek» (meeting of the OSCE PC, 23.10.2025) 💬 We welcome Ambassador Volker Frobarth as Head of the OSCE Programme Office and Mr.Pal Dunay as Director of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. We underscore the practical importance of close cooperation with the authorities of Kyrgyzstan. OSCE field activities must be based on the country's priorities and support the implementation of its national strategies 🔸 We support continued OSCE efforts to combat terrorism, drug trafficking and organized crime, and to strengthen cyber and border security. It is important to maintain the involvement of CIS experts and to expand specialized training 🔸 We share Bishkek’s approach to building a foreign policy aimed at protecting national interests. We value the high level of mutual understanding with our Kyrgyz partners within the OSCE, CSTO, CIS, EAEU and other international organizations 🔸 The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a valuable platform for youth from Central Asia and Afghanistan. We expect the work of the Programme Office and the Academy to be based on the interests of the region’s states — not solely on donor priorities
