Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE M.Buyakevich «On increasing military involvement of certain NATO and EU member States in yet more confrontation in and around Ukraine» (meeting of the OSCE PC, 18.12.2025) 💬 The OSCE's year of work on the Ukrainian issue has ended in failure. Instead of dialogue, the Organization has been turned by a number of countries into a tool of anti-Russian propaganda. Constructive peace initiatives that take Russia's interests into account are being blocked 🇷🇺 Russia appreciates the pragmatic approach of the US administration, which recognizes the need to eliminate the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis. At the same time, the European Union, refusing a settlement, is supplying weapons to Kiev. EU diplomacy has been reduced to petty anti-Russian demarches, and its policy fosters the revival of Nazism and war crimes of the Kiev regime ☦️ The Kiev regime is carrying out repressions against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which is being hushed up in the OSCE. V. Zelenskyy's initiative for a "ceasefire for elections" is a tactical ploy for a respite and rearmament 🇪🇺 The EU's decision to freeze and plans to confiscate Russian assets is state banditry that undermines trust in the global financial system. Russia will challenge these actions in court and take tough retaliatory measures ❗️Despite NATO's support for the Kiev regime, the Russian army holds the strategic initiative. Russia is ready for dialogue to eliminate the causes of the Ukrainian conflict, but if diplomacy is blocked, it will achieve the goals of the special operation by military means
