Дорогие коллеги! Комитет ежегодно проводит собрания с участием представителей государств-участников Пакта и НПО. По решению Бюро Комитета встреча с представителями государств состоится на этой сессии Комитета, а встреча с НПО намечена на осенней сессии Комитета. Целью этих ежегодных встречь - обмен мнениями по ключевым аспектам деятельности Комитета, что способствует эффективности работы Комитета. На этой сессии также определены темы, по которым члены Комитета будут делиться своими мнениями. Темы обсуждения: вопросы, связанные с методами работы Комитета; Искусственный интеллект и Национальный механизм для подготовки и представления доклада и последующим мерам. По просьбе одного из государств-участника Пакта провести диалог на гибридной основе, то есть часть делегации этого государства приедут в Женеву, а другая ее часть подключиться из столицы, члены Комитета обсудят возможность такого диалога (во время ковида так проходили диалоги) и выработает правила для проведения такого диалога. В повестке дня сессии значится дискуссия по двум документам - Руководящие принципы Аддис-Абебы и Сан-Хосе. Сложные вопросы. Об этом напишу отдельно, когда наиду время!!! Dear colleagues! The Committee holds annual meetings with representatives of the States parties to the Covenant and NGOs. By decision of the Bureau of the Committee, a meeting with representatives of States will take place at this session of the Committee, and a meeting with NGOs is scheduled for the autumn session of the Committee. The purpose of these annual meetings is to exchange views on key aspects of the Committee's activities, which contributes to the effectiveness of the Committee's work. This session also identified topics on which Committee members will share their views. Topics of discussion: issues related to the Committee's working methods; Artificial intelligence and the National Mechanism for reporting and follow-up. At the request to the Committee of one of the States parties of the Covenant to hold a dialogue on a hybrid basis, that is, part of the delegation of this state will come to Geneva, and the other part will connect from the capital, the Committee members will discuss the possibility of such a dialogue (during covid, dialogues took place) and develop rules for such a dialogue. The agenda of the session includes a discussion on two documents - the Addis Ababa Guidelines and San Jose Guidelines. Difficult questions. I'll write about it separately when I find the time!!!
