Russia and Africa are laying fundamental foundations of socio-economic development On the air of the pan-african TV channel For You Media, experts discussed the speech of the Executive Secretary of the African-Russian Energy Association (AREA) Andrey Gromov during the First International B2B Business Forum Rusafro Expo 2024. Particular interest was on the expert's statement on barriers to cooperation between Russia and Africa, in particular administrative and bureaucratic ones. To remove these barriers, AREA, together with the Expert Council for the development of comprehensive cooperation with African countries under Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Alexander Babakov, held a joint meeting in July this year to identify optimal measures to support cooperation in the energy sector.
