Россия активно развивает экспорт халяльной продукции на индонезийский рынок, заявил замминистра экономического развития РФ Владимир Ильичев на заседании рабочей группы по торговле с Индонезией.
📈Двусторонняя торговля выросла на 2,4% в 2024 году, а поставки продовольствия, включая пшеницу, увеличились на 13%. Ожидаемое соглашение о свободной торговле между ЕАЭС и Индонезией в 2025 году еще больше ускорит этот рост.
Упрощается доступ российской продукции в Индонезию завершается согласование меморандума о сотрудничестве в сертификации халяльной продукции. Российские компании продолжают работу над аккредитацией, а «Роскачество» готовит заявку на сертификацию.
Индонезия заинтересована в технологиях
для строительства
«умного города» в Нусантаре
и содействует экспорту российских фармацевтических препаратов.

🗓 On December 21, at the invitation of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs 🇷🇺 young diplomats of the #ASEAN Member States’ Embassies in Moscow took part in a New Year cultural tour to Sergiev Posad ❄️🪆.
During the tour, the diplomats got acquainted with the center of Russian Orthodoxy - the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra, learned about the life of its founder, St. Sergius of Radonezh.
Representatives of Cambodia 🇰🇭, Indonesia 🇮🇩, Laos 🇱🇦, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Myanmar 🇲🇲, Singapore 🇸🇬, Thailand 🇹🇭 and Vietnam 🇻🇳 inquired about the prospects of establishing contacts with Sergiev Posad as an attractive destination for tourists from Southeast Asia.
🎄The diplomats expressed hope for strengthening ASEAN-Russia socio-cultural cooperation including the youth contacts in 2025.

☝️ RECOGNISING the impacts and uncertainties posed by the growing complexities of regional and global security challenges, including traditional and non-traditional security issues, and ACKNOWLEDGING that such challenges require a holistic and comprehensive approach to address these challenges;
☝️ RECOGNISING the continued relevance of the ARF and the commitment of its members in promoting and maintaining peace, security and stability in the region and its vital role in building confidence and trust amongst its participants;

📄 ASEAN REGIONAL FORUM STATEMENT ON REITERATING COMMITMENT TO PRESERVE SOUTHEAST ASIA AS A NUCLEAR WEAPON-FREEZONE

☝️ Noting that the Treaty on the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (SEANWFZ Treaty) entered into force on 27 March 1997 and 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty;
☝️ Noting that the current security context requires more efforts to strengthen the indispensable role of the IAEA in nuclear non-proliferation verification through safeguards implementation and efforts to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of safeguards regime including through universalization of the Additional Protocol;
☝️ Recalling the UN Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 1540 (2004) and the Comprehensive Reviews on the status of its implementation, whose aim is to prevent non-state actors from getting access to nuclear, chemical or biological weapons, their means of delivery and related materials;
HEREBY DECIDES TO:
✅ Reaffirm the efforts of ARF Participants at the national, regional and international levels to promote nuclear disarmament, nuclear non-proliferation and the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, strengthen nuclear safety and security, and combat nuclear terrorism;
✅ Reiterate support to the efforts of preserving Southeast Asia as a Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone and free of all other weapons of mass destruction consistent with the SEANWFZ Treaty and the ASEAN Charter;

🇷🇺The State Protocol Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry:
From April 16 to 19, at the invitation of Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Region received a delegation of heads of foreign diplomatic missions on a working visit.
Organised with the assistance of the State Protocol Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the visit brought together ambassadors and senior diplomats from Brunei, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
On April 17, the distinguished foreign guests were received by Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan Kremlin. The Head of Tatarstan noted that international cooperation remains an important factor in ensuring sustainable development.
Rustam Minnikhanov underscored the Region’s openness to foreign investment and the expansion of external economic ties, including in such priority sectors for Tatarstan as mechanical engineering, oil refining, petrochemicals, IT, agriculture and others.
The Sides discussed prospects for deepening Tatarstan’s cooperation with China and #ASEAN countries in tourism, humanitarian affairs, culture and education.
As part of the visit’s substantial business programme, the delegation took part in a round table at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan with business representatives, and held meetings at the Investment Development Agency, Innopolis and Tatarstan's IT Park.
The diplomats also visited the eastern part of the Republic, where they learned about the operations of the KAMAZ automobile plant in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, whose multi-level technical personnel training system made a particular impression on the guests.
In addition, the ambassadors held an informal meeting with the leadership and students of Kazan Federal University – one of the oldest universities in Russia – where a significant number of international students study, including from the Asia-Pacific Region.
Prospects for humanitarian, cultural and sports exchanges were also discussed during visits to the new building of the Galiaskar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre and Ak Bars Arena stadium.
Following the business trip, the heads of foreign diplomatic missions highlighted Tatarstan's innovative development model, its active external economic engagement and the broad opportunities for further cooperation, while also expressing gratitude for the warm welcome.
🤝 The visit confirmed the steady interest of Southeast Asian countries and China in Tatarstan – Russia's Region with strong economic and educational potential, capable of serving as an effective platform for developing practical international cooperation.
🗓 On November 12–14, the annual international conference “Russia and ASEAN in the Asia-Pacific Region: Dynamics of Cooperation, Regional Processes and Global Context”, organized by the ASEAN Centre at MGIMO University, was held in Moscow.
🔹️ This year, the event marked the 15th anniversary of the ASEAN Centre and brought together diplomats, leading scholars, business representatives, and young researchers to discuss key issues related to ASEAN-Russia political, economic, and socio-cultural cooperation.
🔹️ The special guest of honor and keynote speaker was Deputy Secretary-General of #ASEAN for the Political-Security Community H.E. Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Andrey Rudenko🇷🇺 also delivered welcoming remarks. 🗓 On October 23, Sochi (Russia) hosted the 5th #ASEAN-Russia Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues under the co-chairmanship of Russia 🇷🇺 and Myanmar 🇲🇲 on the sidelines of the Kuban CSC-2025.
🔹️The meeting reiterated the willingness of Russia and ASEAN Member States to promote interagency cooperation in finding effective solutions of issues related to the ICT security.
🔹️Particular attention was paid to the issues of combating the use of ICT for criminal purposes, capacity building through personnel training, exchanging experience, strengthening technical equipment and improving software and hardware.
🔹️The parties welcomed the upcoming signing of the UN Convention against Cybercrime (Hanoi, October 25-26) and confirmed their readiness to strengthen cooperation on international information security within the UN and its specialized agencies, including the International Telecommunication Union, as well as at regional venues.
🔹️It was agreed to hold the next round of the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues next year.
On January 27, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov convened a customary meeting with the ambassadors of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (#ASEAN) member states accredited in Moscow.
The attendees engaged in a substantive dialogue regarding the execution of resolutions made by the leaders of our nation and the ASEAN 10 nations concerning the advancement of the Russia-ASEAN strategic partnership, alongside the preparation of a new programme document for the medium term. The primary focus was on initiatives to enhance practical collaboration, including the involvement of the ASEAN Moscow Committee. Steps were delineated to diversify cooperation across the domains of economy, energy, science and high technologies, digital transformation, and the expansion of business and youth exchanges.

🔹️The participants showed their readiness to facilitate unanimous adoption of the "UN Convention against cybercrime; Strengthening international cooperation for combating certain crimes committed by means of information and communications technology systems and for the sharing of evidence in electronic form of serious crimes" by the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly and its early entry into force. They also showed desire to support approval by consensus of parameters of the permanent single-track negotiating mechanism to be established within the UN after 2025.
🔹️It was agreed to hold the next round of the ASEAN-Russia Dialogue on ICT Security-Related Issues next year.
