Работы начались без проверки, находятся ли внутри люди или животные Когда владелец потребовал предъявить документы и разъяснить основания демонтажа, в его адрес поступили угрозы физической расправы, а также была применена сила. Опасаясь за свою жизнь и имущество, он вызвал полицию по номеру 112 Но прибывшие полицейские вместо того, чтобы пресечь беспредел, напротив, задержали хозяина дома и доставили его в участок, где продержали несколько часов. А незаконный (без решения суда) снос дома продолжился В дальнейшем выяснилось, что демонтажные действия могли быть связаны с деятельностью Максима Сатурниновича Мартинес-Телетеа, инспектора Управления контроля за объектами недвижимости по Восточному административному округу Максим Мартинес-Телетеа, который, по словам жильца, неоднократно составлял акты обследования по объекту и направлял их в префектуру ВАО. На основании этих актов создавались комиссии, выносившие решения о демонтаже. При этом ряд решений касался не только данного участка, но и смежных территорий Как утверждает собственник, инспектор регулярно посещал участок, проявляя «явную заинтересованность» и ссылаясь на постановление Правительства Москвы № ПМ-819, предусматривающее демонтаж незаконных объектов.
