🇪🇬🇸🇩Leaders of Egypt, Sudan discuss efforts to settle Sudanese Crisis, Presidency reveals Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi and Sudanese sovereignty council head Abdel Fattah al-Burhan held a discussion on this issue and ways restore stability in the country during their meeting in Cairo on Thursday, the Egyptian presidency said. Earlier in the day, al-Burhan, who is also the commander of the Sudanese regular armed forces, arrived in the Egyptian capital on an official visit. This is his second trip to Egypt since the outbreak of hostilities in Sudan in April 2023. The first visit took place in August 2023. Egypt will keep supporting Sudan in its struggle for stability in politics, security and economy, and will further contribute to settling the Sudanese conflict, Sisi was cited as saying by his office.
