🇷🇺Russia's wheat supply reaches 26.1% of global exports in 2023-2024 agricultural season Russia exported a record 55.3 million tonnes of wheat in the 2023-2024 agricultural season, an analysis of the International Grains Council's data conducted by Sputnik showed on Friday. Russia's export volume reached the highest figure in modern history and jumped by 15% year-on-year. Global wheat exports in the last agricultural year stood at 211.7 million tonnes, against 208.7 million year-on-year. The European Union was the second-largest wheat exporter after Russia, with the bloc's supplies increasing by 0.7% to 35.3 million tonnes.
