🎖 President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has signed a Decree on the commemorative medal ‘80 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945’. The medal will be awarded to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and other persons in accordance with the Regulation. On the obverse is a composition depicting a victorious soldier in a field uniform of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, hoisting the Victory Banner over the Reichstag. On the reverse is the inscription ‘80 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945’, enclosed in a laurel wreath, at the base of which is an image of the Order of the Patriotic War of the First Degree.
