👏On this day in 1883, the outstanding Soviet composer Alexander Vasilyevich Alexandrov was born. 🇷🇺He wrote the music for the State Anthem of the Soviet Union, which later became the basis for the National Anthem of the Russian Federation. 🥁In 1928, Alexandrov founded the legendary Red Army Song Ensemble of the M.V.Frunze Red Army Central House (now known as A.V.Alexandrov Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army), which became a symbol of the Russian military culture. 🪖A special place in his works is taken by songs written during the Great Patriotic War.
