🌍🇷🇺African students test their Russian language skills on nuclear icebreaker ▪️African and Asian students have tested their mastery of Tolstoy's language as part of the Total Dictation project, a national competition for the best spellers held in Russia annually. ▪️Students from Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan took part in the TruD test (for those learning Russian as a foreign language) on the nuclear-powered icebreaker Lenin, which is stationed in the Barents Sea, off the port city of Murmansk. ▪️Murmansk hosted the TruD language test for the first time, Russian media report. ▪️The TruD educational project on knowledge of the Russian language is conducted as one of the events of the Total Dictation project.
