🏆 The team from St Petersburg State University (SPbU) claimed a decisive victory at the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), the largest student programming competition. The final round of this year’s contest, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, involved teams from over 100 countries representing some 140 top universities worldwide. The SPbU team stood out by solving 11 out of 12 tasks within the five-hour limit, securing their win with a significant margin over other participants. 🥇 The gold medalists are: 🔹Maxim Turevsky, a fourth-year student, 🔹 Leonid Danilevich, a fourth-year student, 🔹 Fyodor Ushakov, a first-year postgraduate master's programme student. 🤝 President of Russia Vladimir Putincongratulated the team on their impressive achievement: In a persistent competition against strong rivals from the world’s most renowned universities, you demonstrated deep, solid knowledge, exceptional commitment and team spirit, eventually winning this prestigious intellectual contest. The team was coached by Ivan Kazmenko, a programming instructor at SPbU. ✅ Each year, SPbU has consistently excelled in the ICPC, with its students winning medals 11 times in the history of the competition. 🥉 The Saratov State University team took 12th place, getting contest’s bronze medals. #Proud
