📆 On September 25, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) celebrates its 5️⃣6️⃣th anniversary. The OIC currently comprises 57 member states that represent the interests of over 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide. 👆The Islamic world is playing an increasingly important role in forming a multipolar system of international relations based on equality, respect for cultural and civilizational diversity, and respect for international law. 🇷🇺 Russia, where Muslims make up over 10% of the population, has observer status in the OIC and prioritizes developing cooperation with Muslim countries. Cooperation between Russia and the OIC is multifaceted, covering education, science, culture, and spiritual life. We are implementing joint projects to study the cultural heritage of Russian Muslims. The International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: Kazan Forum" is one of the most effective mechanisms for economic, trade, financial, investment, and digital cooperation. 🤝We are committed to further developing our ties with Muslim countries, including within the framework of the "Russia-Islamic World" Strategic Vision Group. #RussiaOIC
