✨️The Diamond Butterfly Film Award: A New Symbol of Creative Unity On November 24, Moscow will host the inaugural Diamond Butterfly Open Eurasian Film Awards ceremony. 🎬 This international cultural event was established by the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Russian Cultural Foundation. Its goal is to support and promote high-quality cinema that conveys spiritual and moral values uniting Eurasian and national cultures, as well as strengthening the role of culture in shaping public consciousness. 💬 Elena Golovnina, the Director General of the Russian Cultural Foundation, said: "Today, when some of world cinema promotes ideas far from traditional values, our award offers a timely alternative. We believe that true art should bring light and hope, unite people, and reinforce eternal moral values. These are the types of films that we will support as part of the Diamond Butterfly initiative. I sincerely hope that the works presented will introduce us to new talents and new opportunities for collaboration." The main prize, a diamond-encrusted butterfly designed by artist Yuri Cooper, will be awarded to winners in twelve categories. Winners will also receive prizes of up to one million dollars. 🌐 The presentation of the Eurasian Academy of Cinematic Arts took place in April 2025 with representatives from film communities in over 20 countries in attendance, including Pakistan, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Venezuela, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. 👉Follow the Diamond Butterfly Film Award on social media.
