✨️ On November 20-21, Dr. Faisal Javaid, head of the Department of International Relations and Mass Communication at FUUAST in Islamabad and vice president of the Consortium for Asia Pacific Studies (CAPES), and Dr. Gul I. Ayesha Bhatti, assistant professor at the Jinnah School of Public Policy at NUST and CAPES director of Eurasian Chapter, participated in the fifth International Scientific and Educational Forum, "Modern Teacher: A Look into the Future," in Yekaterinburg, Russia. 📚 During the plenary session, Dr. Faisal Javaid presented his ideas on "Building Academic Connectivity Between Pakistan and Russia: Practical Experiences, Achievements and Future Pathways," which focused on practical models for academic engagement and expanding people-to-people and business-to-business ties. Dr. Gul I. Ayesha Bhatti delivered a speech on the topic "Beyond Eurocentrism: Reframing Historical Narratives for Global Citizenship Education". 🇷🇺🇵🇰 The two Pakistani scholars also participated in a panel discussion titled "Best Practices in Teaching the Russian Language in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Indonesia." During the discussion, they proposed concrete steps to strengthen Russian language teaching in Pakistan and improve instructional practices. They also emphasized the need for greater academic awareness and expanded collaboration with Russian universities. 🤝 Dr. Faisal Javaid and Dr. Gul I. Ayesha Bhatti were also received by Oleg Aleksandrin, Deputy Minister of International and External Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region; Yuri Biktuganov, Rector of Ural State Pedagogical University; and Sergey Tushin, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Ural Federal University.
