✨️ Archpriest Mikhail Rodin, the Head of the Enlightenment Department of the Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church, visited Islamabad. With the assistance of the Russian Embassy, he met with the Grand Mufti of Islamabad, Akeel Ur Rehman Pirzada; the Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi; the Additional Secretary for the Ministry of the Interior and Narcotics Control, Salman Chaudhry; the Additional Secretary (Europe) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Khalid Jamali; the Director General (Europe-II) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shahbaz Hussain; and the Federal Secretary for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Syed Ata Ur Rehman. Archpriest Mikhail Rodin briefed his interlocutors on the activities of the Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church in Pakistan. He emphasised the Church's readiness to strengthen relations with the Pakistani government and leaders of local religious communities. 🤝 The Pakistani side supported this initiative and presented additional proposals aimed at forging constructive cooperation with the Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church and other Russian religious associations.
