The Championship is an international contest and educational event that brings together teams from around the world to showcase their Russian language skills, ability to defend their point of view, engage in discussions, solve logical problems, work as a team, and demonstrate creativity. ℹ️ In order to participate, you must form a team of 5 people of 16–22 years of age, with each member having at least an A2 level of Russian language proficiency. The top ten teams that successfully complete the online stage will be invited to the final round in Moscow, Russia, to be held in December 2025. Achievements to be acknowledged by this Prize are bound to shape the future and benefit various aspects of human life, such as health, communications, logistics, energy, etc. The VYZOV Prize is awarded in five categories: ✔️FUTURE: for a scientific achievement that has influenced the dynamics of science and technology development (awarded to participants who have not reached the age of 35 at the time of application) ✔️ENGINEERING SOLUTION: for a significant invention or the creation of a new technology ✔️BREAKTHROUGH: for a scientific research that has solved an important scientific or technological problem ✔️DISCOVERY: for a significant discovery that has influenced the development of science and technology ✔️SCIENTIST OF THE YEAR: for outstanding cumulative personal contributions and changing the landscape of science and technology Over three years, applications to the VYZOV Prize have nearly tripled: from 218 in 2023 to 632 in 2025. In total, more than 1,400 applications from 52 countries have been submitted across the Prize’s three seasons. #Announcement 🗓 From August 31 to September 3, President of Russia Vladimir Putinwill pay a visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of President of the PRC Xi Jinping. From August 31 to September 1, the President of Russia will be in the city of Tianjin to attend and address a Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. The Summit will focus on the current state and future prospects of cooperation within the SCO, alongside key international and regional issues. • On September 1, an SCO Plus format meeting will be held in Tianjin. The Leaders of the SCO member states will be joined by heads of observer states and the SCO's dialogue partners, as well as nations and international organisations invited by the Chinese government. • On September 2, a trilateral meeting between the leaders of 🇷🇺 Russia, 🇨🇳 China and 🇲🇳 Mongolia will be held in Beijing. During the meeting, Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh will discuss priority areas of cooperation. On the same day, top level talks are to be held in Beijing as part of the Russian President's official visit to the People's Republic of China. Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping will discuss ways to further strengthen and develop the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China, as well as practical collaboration between the two countries. Global and regional issues, as well as joint efforts within multilateral organisations will also be on the agenda. • On September 3, Vladimir Putin will take part as a guest of honour in official events commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Victory over militarist Japan and the end of World War II. In addition, the President of Russia will hold a number of bilateral meetings with foreign leaders.

#Announcement 🗓 On May 10-17, 2025, the Open International Biology Olympiad (#OIBO) 2025 will be held on the Sirius federal territory, Russian Federation. OIBO is an international biology competition aimed at engaging students in addressing and solving relevant biological and biotechnological issues, in collaboration with industrial partners, as well as developing international cooperation and exchange of experience between participants. The Olympiad includes three rounds: • theoretical round (individual); • practical round (individual); • project round (team only). 👨‍💼👩‍💼 Students aged 14 to 18 inclusive can participate in teams of up to 6 members. Each team can be accompanied by one leader (above 18). Each team can bring up to 2 observers (adults), who will exchange professional experience, communicate with the like-minded people and take part in the dialogue of cultures. The official languages of the OIBO are Russian and English. The tasks for the participants will be provided by the organizers both in Russian and in English, tasks can be provided in the national language, if there is a translation from the national jury. The opportunity to translate tasks into the national language will be provided for the delegations. Each country can be represented by one team only. The host country has the right to invite two teams to take part in the Olympiad. 👉Registration will be open until April 20, 2025.

#Announcement 🗓The International Security Forum held under the auspices of the Security Council of the Russian Federation is scheduled to take place on May 26-29, 2026, at the ‘Live Arena’ multifunctional complex and the ‘Patriot’ Central Park. The Forum to feature the following events: • the XIV International Meeting of High-Ranking Officials Responsible for Security Matters • a variety of thematic sessions (scientific conferences, roundtables, briefings, presentations) • bilateral and multilateral meetings • exhibitions devoted to specific areas of activity of relevant Russian agencies and organizations 👉The Forum's Core Events (.doc file) More than 180 delegations from foreign states and international organizations have been invited to participate in the Forum.
