The United States has agreed to make an exception for Hungary from American sanctions when paying for Russian gas supplies under contracts with Gazprom, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said. "Yesterday we received information from Washington that our request for an exception to these sanctions has been granted," he said, stressing that thanks to this decision by the Donald Trump administration, "Hungary's energy supplies are reliably guaranteed."
