Did you know the whole world voted for the New 7 Wonders of the World in 2007? 🌍 The initiative was led by the Swiss-based New7Wonders Foundation, and over 100 million people around the globe took part in the voting! Here’s who made the final list: 🇯🇴Petra (Jordan) – an ancient city carved into rose-colored rock 🇮🇳Taj Mahal (India) – marble turned into a love story 🇧🇷Christ the Redeemer (Brazil) – symbol of Rio and hope 🇮🇹Colosseum (Italy) – the arena that survived it all 🇲🇽Chichen Itza (Mexico) – a Mayan pyramid aligned with the sun 🇵🇪Machu Picchu (Peru) – the lost city in the clouds 🇨🇳Great Wall of China – a 20,000 km dragon of stone 💭 What about the Pyramids? Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza — the only surviving wonder of the ancient world — refused to compete.
