Chef accused of robbing 3 San Francisco banks in same day California chef Valentino Luchin, 62, has been arrested and charged with four counts of second-degree bank robbery after allegedly robbing three San Francisco banks on Sept. 10. Luchin, formerly an executive chef and restaurant owner in Walnut Creek, is being held on \$200,000 bond. The robberies occurred in Union Square, Chinatown, and North Beach.
