As our ships approach the coast of Gaza, sailing to break the illegal Israeli blockade, the risk of interception by the IOF is growing. To carry out our mission, we need you to draw the world's attention to Palestine and keep watching the flotilla tracker (link in our bio). Keep up the resistance!

The flotilla sets sails again! On May 14, 2026, five FFC boats that launched from Greece, joined with more than 50 vessels that departed from Türkiye to form the largest civilian flotilla to date. They are now en route to Gaza. Despite attacks, abductions, threats, and smear campaigns, the mission to break Israel's illegal and deadly siege of Gaza continues. We are unarmed, civilian-led, lawful, and grounded in international law. Governments have failed to stop the siege, starvation, and wholesale destruction of Gaza. They have been continuously enabling this genocide. But it is our duty to refuse to normalize the horror. To rise against murder, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing. All eyes on Gaza — and the flotilla trying to reach it (link to tracker in our bio).

15 May marks the day the Nakba – نَكْبَة, which translates to “catastrophe” in Arabic – started. It commemorates what began with Israel’s murder, mass displacement and exile of Palestinians in 1948. It is not confined to history. The Nakba is ongoing. > Boycott companies complicit in Israel’s oppression > Support Palestinian-led and grassroots initiatives > Stand with and protect your local Palestinian communities > Organize, educate, and speak out

The FFC and TMTG welcome Saif and Thiago’s imminent release from Israeli captivity. Their release is a victory over Israel’s attempt to criminalize the flotilla movement and smear solidarity with Palestine. It also exposes Israel’s accusations for politically motivated propaganda designed to justify violence against civilian flotillas and suppress growing global resistance to genocide, apartheid, and settler colonialism. At the same time, their case underscores a painful reality: while Saif and Thiago had international visibility and governments advocating for them, millions of Palestinians living under brutal Israeli occupation do not. More than 10,000 Palestinians, including children, remain imprisoned in Israeli torture camps, enduring horrific abuse without protection or accountability. For them, we continue.

Our Lina boat is named after Lina Al Nabulsi, a Palestinian teenager murdered by Israeli forces on May 15, 1976. Since then, Israel has murdered, maimed, orphaned, and starved to death hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children, and continues to do so with impunity. FFC sails in direct defiance of racism, colonialism, and a global system that treats Black and Brown children as disposable. Follow the Lina and all flotilla boats on our live tracker at https://freedomflotilla.org/ffc-gsf-tracker/

We mourn the passing of Teresa Regina de Ávila e Silva — mother of our detained colleague Thiago Ávila, and the woman who helped shape his lifelong commitment to justice. Thiago remains detained by Israel, denied the most basic human right: the chance to say goodbye to his mother. This cruelty mirrors the daily reality of thousands of Palestinians held in arbitrary detention, separated from their families and systematically denied dignity in life and in death. We stand with Thiago and his family and demand the immediate release of Thiago, Saif Abu Keshek, and all Palestinian political prisoners. Rest in Power, Teresa Regina de Ávila e Silva.

FFC fleet pays homage in the Med some 80 nautical miles off the coast of Greece (INTERNATIONAL WATERS) where the IOF illegally intercepted 22 boats, kidnapped 180 participants. Solidarity with Thiago Avila, Saif Abu Keshek and all Palestinian prisoners who remain in brutal conditions in Israeli prison.

Together we're building something stronger, deeper and more resilient than ever! As the genocide perpetrated by Israel in Palestine and Lebanon rages on, we must escalate — the resistance must be everywhere. From sea to shore, the fight must be global. That is why we are continuing our mobilisation campaign in the Mediterranean Sea. But we cannot do it alone. > Join us, take action, block the docks, boycott, disrupt, shut it down.

Israel has a history of targeting journalists. For decades, the Zionist government has been bent on killing those who report on the reality of its violence. This week, the genocidal state murdered Amal Khalil, a Lebanese journalist known for her dedication and high-quality work.

With the never-ending escalation of Zionist violence in the SWANA region, we have recently prioritised reporting on developments in Lebanon and Palestine. However, our ships arrived in Cetraro, Italy, on 16 April. There are hundreds of us, working together both on the ground and remotely, across the globe. We are working day and night for a free Palestine.

The world cannot wait, it’s time to shut down the machinery that enables Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing as it reaches further in the region with impunity. People of global conscience must mobilize everywhere. From sea to port to street to disrupt the global weapons pipeline. What happens at sea is stronger when matched by actions on land.

Apple has erased most of the towns and villages in Lebanon from 'Maps'. The same strategy was already used by Google and Apple in Gaza. This isn’t a glitch. It’s erasure, complicity, and part of the genocidal propaganda machine. - BOYCOTT GOOGLE AND APPLE. - TAG Apple on IG AND DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY NOW.
