On April 23, Ambassador of Russia to Singapore Nikolay Kudashev took part in the X Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue (RSBD) "Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Cooperation: New Opportunities for Trade", organized by Russia-Singapore Business Council. In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador Kudashev noted that the RSBD has become a well-established tradition and a valuable platform for discussions between business people from Russia and Singapore on current issues of trade and economic relations, including regional cooperation and application of advanced technologies. Ambassador emphasized that the center of global development is shifting from the Euro-Atlantic to the Asia Pacific region to the Global East and South, which now account for the majority of economic growth. New hubs for trade and investment with alternative business models and new areas of cooperation are emerging and becoming part of the future global economy. "This trend is accompanied by new developments in political thought: the concept of a pan-continental Eurasian security system is taking shape, embracing the pragmatic vision of the Greater Eurasian Partnership. It is impossible to ignore the emergence of a fundamentally new global reality - the formation of a multipolar world that is more humane, predictable and just - stimulated by well-trusted and successful entities such as BRICS, SCO, ASEAN, CELAC, CIS, EAEU, African Union, and many others. Business people from Russia and Singapore should take into account these changing circumstances and boldly seek additional opportunities for cooperation, both bilaterally and within the framework of emerging multipolar world order". At the end of the business program, recently released movie "Red Silk" (2025) of joint Russia-Chinese production was demonstrated to the participants and guests of the RSBD.
