Milli Savunma Bakanı Yaşar Güler: İsrail-İran savaşında, İran’daki PJAK’lılar çatışmanın İran’ın yenilgisiyle biteceğini, hatta rejimin yıkılacağını düşündü. Bu beklentiyle açıklamalar yaptılar ama tam tersi oldu. İran, PJAK’a operasyon düzenleyip ağır darbe vurdu. PKK, “silah bırakıyoruz” dedikten sonra Irak’ın kuzeyinden terörist ve mühimmatları İran’a geçirmeye çalıştı. Biz her gün İran’a bildirdik, onlar da zaman buldukça operasyon yaptı. Böylece İran, PJAK’ın gerçek yüzünü daha net gördü. Acting on this expectation, they made statements, but the opposite happened. Iran launched operations against PJAK and dealt it a heavy blow. After the PKK said "we are laying down arms" it tried to move terrorists and ammunition from northern Iraq into Iran. We informed Iran every day, and they carried out operations whenever they had the opportunity. In this way, Iran saw PJAK’s true face more clearly.
