ALTAY Tankı'nın yerli motorunda kritik eşik aşıldı: 2018 yılında başlayan BATU motoru geliştirme sürecinde fabrika kabul faaliyetleri tamamlandı. Transmisyona yönelik test ve kalifikasyon faaliyetleri de planlandığı şekilde devam ediyor. Güney Kore motoruyla başlayan ALTAY Tankı'nın seri üretim çalışmaları 85. tanktan sonra BATU ile devam edecek. Bu süreçte BATU Güç Grubu'nun olgunluğu üst seviyeye çıkarılarak göreve hazır hale getirilecek.
