Yih-Shyan “Wally” Liaw smuggled $2.5 billion worth of Nvidia servers to China. He used a shell company in Southeast Asia and built fake servers to fool auditors. Liaw was racing to beat new export rules and even sent his team a White House policy link saying “go faster.” At 71 years old, holding $464 million in SMCI stock, it’s astonishing that someone with this much net worth would engage in such activities.
