⚡️Factual correction: In 1990, $1 = 2,590 OLD Lira. In 2026, $1 = 44.65 NEW Lira. In 2005, they removed 6 zeros to make it manageable (1 new Lira = 1,000,000 old Lira). So if that hadn’t happened, in 2026 $1 would = 44,650,000 old Lira. But because of the redenomination, when we use today’s lira unit: 2,590 old / 1,000,000 = 0.00259 new lira per $1 → 1 new Lira = ~$386 in 1990. That’s exactly why intern used the $386 figure. It’s the fair apples-to-apples comparison. The lira has still lost over 99.99% of its value vs USD either way. @odes_ai
