⚡️ UNESCO member states called on Russia to immediately withdraw from Ukraine During the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development – MONDIACULT 2022 – 48 participating countries, including 27 EU countries, the United States, Great Britain, Canada, and others, condemned Russia's aggression against Ukraine. "We cannot watch as one country tries to erase the identity and culture of another country, nor can we accept further actions that contradict the UNESCO Constitution and our common conventions. We call on Russia to immediately step beyond Ukraine's internationally recognized borders and demand an immediate end to its aggression against Ukraine to guarantee protection from further damage to Ukraine's natural, immovable and movable cultural heritage in all its forms," the UNESCO member states said in a statement.
