https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xxd1cmenki8 大家周五愉快～今天分享美国作曲家Aaron Copland的著名作品Appalachian Spring，分享他指挥的版本～这部作品最初是芭蕾音乐，舞蹈家Martha Graham的一个commission，后来被rearrange成Orchestral suite。其中最著名的一个旋律来自Shakers（全称是United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing）的一首歌，原名叫Simple Gifts～（具体位置请点这里：https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xxd1cmenki8&t=1117s） 很有意思的是这首曲子在创作的时候并没有名字，Copland就叫它Ballet for Martha～Appalachian Spring的名字是Martha后来取的，来源自Hart Crane的一首诗： O Appalachian Spring!
