Поймал себя на том, что иногда мне нравится ездить на автомобиле, а иногда нет. Понятно, что чилить на автостраде это прикольно, а пробиваться через городские пробки — нет. Но я осознал, что иногда мне в городе вполне прикольно, а иногда нет. Я даже в пробках иногда стою спокойно.
Начал рефлексировать, и понял: мне приятно ездить, когда я никуда не тороплюсь. Когда можно опоздать на 5-10-15 минут, а то и на полчаса. В гости к друзьям обычно можно опоздать. В магазин можно опоздать, если ты не под закрытие едешь. А вот если едешь на какое-то мероприятие ко времени, то опаздывать нельзя, и обычно даже 10 минут неприятны.
Дорожная ситуация меняется не слишком предсказуемо. Время на поиск места парковки тоже не определено. Да и постоянное искушение где-то что-то нарушить, чтобы не опоздать. Либо наоборот — выезжаешь на машине сильно заранее, и на месте просто ждёшь полчаса.
В общем, машина хорошо решает задачу "Добраться куда-то в место, плохо доступное другими видами транспорта". Но не слишком хорошо решает задачу "Добраться куда-то к заданному моменту с точностью плюс-минус 5 минут". А, например, пешком + метро решает хорошо. Можно, конечно, пофантазировать на тему какого-то предсказания и правильного планирования, но на деле пара забитых перекрёстков вполне могут стоить вам 10 минут, что в контексте городской жизни довольно много.
P.S. Скоро у меня отпуск, и будут очень интересные посты про дроны и мототехнику. Хотя погода в Питере как обычно норовит подвести в самое неподходящее время. С таким климатом хоть на автомобиле езди!

📰 Bugatti has unveiled the Brouillard hypercar, created as a one-off for Dutch businessman Michel Perridon.
🐎 The hypercar is equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 engine with 1,600 hp, a carbon fiber chassis with aluminum elements, and is designed exclusively for the track.
🔎 The exterior features a contoured bumper, C-shaped air intakes, X-shaped lights, and four exhaust pipes in the style of the Chiron Super Sport. The interior features unique green trim, Parisian fabric with a checkered pattern, carbon fiber, and aluminum. The main accent is a hand-crafted sculpture of a horse built into the gear selector.

🏆Koenigsegg has broken its own 0-400-0kph world record
Koenigsegg has set a new record among hypercars. The gasoline-powered Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut coupe (1600 hp) accelerated from a standing start to 400 km/h and braked to a complete stop in 27.83 seconds.
Acceleration to 400 km/h took 18.82 seconds.
Back in May 2023, it had set a new 0-400-0kph record with its all-electric Nevera hypercar. The 1,888bhp EV had completed the acceleration and deceleration sprint in 29.93 seconds, taking the crown from the hybridised Koenigsegg Regera.

Its three electric motors produce a total of 1,548 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 1.97 seconds, to 200 km/h - 5.96 seconds. The top speed exceeds 350 km/h.
In the fall, the SU7 Ultra will try to set the Nürburgring record for non-production cars.
Xiaomi has confirmed the SU7 Ultra’s first attempt at the ‘Ring will come in October when it’ll aim to better the Taycan’s 7m 5.5s.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra hypercar will go on sale in the first half of 2025. The exact price is not specified.

📰Hennessey unveils 1-of-1 manual Venom F5 hypercar
ℹ️ This one-of-a-kind car is based on the Hennessey F5 line (which includes a coupe and a roadster), and its name contains an abbreviation in honor of its customer, American collector Louis Flory.
🐎 The roadster combines the features of the F5 track modification – Revolution – with the Evolution version. The latter features a 6.6-liter V8 Fury with two turbochargers, boosted to 2031 hp when fueled with E85 (the standard version of the F5 produces 1842 hp). At the same time, the Venom F5 LF was ordered with a six-speed manual transmission, rather than the robotic gearbox also used for the F5.
In addition, the car has a new carbon fiber monocoque, adaptive suspension, and modified aerodynamic bodywork. The unique look is further enhanced by special trim and a color palette in the interior.

2025 🏎 ZR1 is a 1,064 hp hypercar with 350 kmh top speed
🔥 Twin turbos, rear-wheel-drive, and more power than a Bugatti Veyron.
New V8 was developed specially for the new modification ZR1, which develops 1064 hp and 1132 Nm and has no electric component.
According to the developers' calculations, the maximum speed of Corvette ZR1 should reach 350 km/h, and the drag race quarter mile (402 meters) it will be able to pass faster than in 10 seconds. During the first tests at the Nurburgring, testers easily accelerated the ZR1 to 320 km/h. The weight of the hypercar is 1665 kg.

Bugatti has announced the presentation date for its new hypercar. The car will be officially presented during the ‘А new bugatti era emerges’ event, which will be held on 20 June.
