Сегодня день Звездных Войн. Из-за того, что дата May the 4th читается так же, как начало фразы May the force (be with you), которую герои этой вселенной говорят друг другу.
Для меня любовь фанатов к 4-6 фильмам и не слишком хорошее принятие ими, например, первого, вышедшего спустя столько лет — это заметное проявление мировой несправедливости. Старые эпизоды более наивные и детские по сюжету, в них больше логических проблем, на порядок хуже поставлены бои (а точнее, вообще никак), и, конечно, они не могут сравниться с более новыми фильмами по эффектам и графике.
Да, для своего времени это крутое и прорывное кино, но и первый эпизод для его времени был очень даже на уровне. Так что в основном впечатления фанатов складываются из того факта, что при выходе четвёртого эпизода им всем было по 10 лет, и их детские эмоции при просмотре были значительно более яркими. А я первым в своей жизни увидел именно первый фильм, так что именно он сформировал в итоге впечатление о франшизе.
При всех своих недостатках вселенная очень самобытна, и, думаю, в этом изрядная доля секрета её популярности. Ну и для гика есть, где развернуться: инопланетяне и роботы существуют в одном мире с магами и боем на мечах, Тёмный Властелин в чёрных доспехах, космические пираты и так далее :)
Сомневаюсь, что существуют люди, которые в принципе интересуются фантастикой, но при этом почему-то не смотрели ЗВ, так что не буду давать каких-либо рекомендаций.
