Второй онлайн-день #DotNext закончился.
В числе прочего был интересный разговор на тему «Страх и ненависть в Open Source», но я вам о некоторых особо заметных случаях рассказывал уже вот тут и тут. Ещё послушал про обратное соединение распиленного монолита (бывает, что и такое нужно!) и ещё пару докладов.
В целом, впечатления противоречивые. Опишу кратко.
Плюсы:
1. Высочайшего качества техническая организация. Ничего не глючило, чистая картинка и звук, удобный UI.
2. Были полезные и практичные вещи, интересные.
3. Реально отвечали на вопросы в чате в реалтайм-режиме.
Что прошло ниже моих ожиданий (я впервые на такой дорогой IT-конференции):
1. Наверное, подсознательно я ожидал что с учётом цены билета буквально каждый доклад будет супер звёздным уровня "Торвальдс лично рассказывает подробности устройства ядра Linux, и делает это с шутками и котиками". Но доклады в среднем довольно обычные. Некоторые поверхностные, другие на очень далёкую от меня тему. И ещё их не очень много, не то, чтоб был гигантский выбор. Хотя, справедливости ради, больше 2-3 лекций в день тяжело осилить.
2. Интерактивные фишки формально заявлены: виртуальные стенды и квизы. По факту, во-первых, стенды и квизы полностью повторяют друг друга, во-вторых, их было всего два, и интересный (на мой личный взгляд) только один. Я ожидал, что их хотя бы десяток будет.
3. Часть обсуждения в Telegram, часть прямо в онлайн-чате лекции, и это, на мой взгляд, не пошло на пользу. Мне не хотелось вступать в Telegram-чат, но активность в основном чате лекции была низкой, при этом с телефона такой чат вообще не подразумевался.
Я для себя убедился, что всё-таки именно мне в таких мероприятиях важна офлайновость: прийти и вживую потусить, получить мерч, поучаствовать в активностях. Чисто в онлайн-формате сугубо на мой взгляд мероприятие себя не окупает. Посмотрим, что будет в офлайне 27-го числа, напишу вам отзыв.

🚘Brabus has presented an extreme tuning of Mercedes-AMG G 63 called XL 800
🔎 Extreme G-Class got new bodywork, 22-inch wheels and 47-cm ground clearance due to portal axle and adaptive suspension. The novelty is also equipped with a reinforced suspension with titanium arms and built-in winch. The interior is covered with gray leather and carbon fiber, and for rear passengers added ceiling unit with compass and speedometer.
🐎 The V8 engine has been boosted to 800 hp and 1000 Nm. Acceleration to a hundred - in 4.6 seconds, top speed – 210 km/h.
💰 Orders are already open, pricing has not been disclosed.

🚘Lamborghini has unveiled the first special edition of the Temerario supercar
📰 The Ad Personam division has for the first time released an exclusive version of the Temerario coupé with a unique design inspired by the island of Sardinia.
🔎 The car has received original paintwork and an interior in matching colours. Lamborghini has not revealed plans for the serial production of this special version.

🔎 Under the hood is a supercharged Coyote V8. Available with a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic. Special sport suspension. Custom widebody kit. RTR plans to build just 50 of these Mustangs, starting at $159,999.

🚘A rose gold Tesla Cybertruck has been made in the US
Dallas-based Omar's Wheels and Tires, has plated the Tesla Cybertruck in rose gold chrome and supplied a set of massive 30-inch solid-disc wheels from Forgiatto.
Admittedly, these Forgiato wheels are wrapped in paper-thin tires that would be absolutely useless for off-roading, but they are fit for a car show or for cruising on the street. Perhaps they hurt the ride 🤔

🔧California-based Tesla tuner creates a new kit for the fastest Model 3
The Californian tuning company has lowered the front end and makes the whole thing look really rather angry. There’s also a retrimmed rear diffuser and a fairly hefty rear wing for track enthusiasts to max out downforce.
The carbon fibre kit is modular and the bits can be bought individually, as part of a front end kit, or as a full aero pack depending on how aggressive you would like your EV (Electric Vehicle) to look.
Each piece was created using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), which means they were created virtually in a digital space before they were fabricated in the real world in pre-preg carbon fibre. The point is, they’ve been developed to fit seamlessly into the pre-existing form of the Model 3 Performance.

🥝 has unveiled a technology for drawing patterns on cars
🖌 The company does not go into details yet, but clarified that the PixelPaint technology is similar to the circuitry of an inkjet printer. With its help, paint can be applied to the car body with the highest precision, which will allow drawing individual patterns. In this way, a new level of personalization becomes available to the brand's customers: it is said that the creativity of customers is limited only by the technical feasibility of their ideas.
☔️ is working on a fundamentally different possibility of body customization. It is expected that in a few years, production cars will be able to change color at the will of the owner. The technology used for this is similar in principle to electronic ink.

📰Porsche 911 GT3 RS got a tuning kit from Manthey Racing for $125k
🔍 The Manthey Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the 911 with the largest fin in the world and it seems to have the most fins on the surface of the car.
🏎 The rear window was sacrificed to install the large fin. It's not a pity, you can't see anything through it anyway. The car received a special carbon aerodynamic package, which adds 1000 kilos of downforce at a speed of 285 km/h. The suspension has also been improved considerably.
⏱️ The race team plans to improve the lap time at the Nürburgring by a few seconds compared to the standard 911 GT3 RS in the 20.8km configuration.
