Одна из лучших фантастических вселенных это Звёздные Войны. В ней одни из самых знаковых персонажей это джедаи. А среди джедаев один из самых интересных — Оби Ван Кеноби. Надо же было сольный высокобюджетный сериал про него сделать таким пресным... Все моменты, ради которых стоит смотреть 6 часовых эпизодов, можно уложить в трёхминутный ролик на Ютубе. И 90% хронометража там будет занимать пафосный синтетический голос Дарта Вейдера.
Ну да ладно, уже весь интернет прошёлся и по нелогичности сюжета, и по слабой мотивации героев, и по многократным нарушениям канона.
Куда интереснее лично мне ситуация вокруг актрисы Мозез Ингрэм, которая играла инквизиторшу. После трейлера и первых серий заявлялось, что на неё повалился поток расистских оскорблений: дескать, важный персонаж афроамериканка, и фанатам это не понравилось.
Но это меня удивляет, и есть подозрение, что дело не в расизме. Актриса совсем неубедительно играет, а её персонаж написан плохо и вшит в повествование белыми нитками. Я могу легко допустить, что люди ругались именно на это, и цвет кожи здесь был вообще не при делах. Трудно представить, чтобы фанаты Звёздных Войн написали Сэму Джексону оскорбления из-за того, что его персонаж Мейс Винду — чернокожий. Вероятнее всего, Мозез Ингрэм просто не слишком хорошая актриса. Но современная американская повестка позволяет на любые претензии кидать клич "Это потому что я черная, а вы расисты". Если чернокожий врач плохо лечит пациентов, то они расисты. Если чернокожий программист пишет кривой код, тоже наверняка пользователи расисты, раз у них программа не работает. Так и живут.

The Divine Meaning Of Dussehra (Part 1)
Many interesting and famous mythological stories of Dussehra or Vijayadashami (October 2nd), that celebrates the victory of righteousness over evil, are present in the world. These stories have deep spiritual meaning and significance.
According to the spiritual knowledge shared at the Brahma Kumaris, the soul originally was a sparkling star-like point of living energy, full of peace, purity and bliss; spiritually charged and staying in the soul world. This world is commonly called Shantidham or Muktidham, a world beyond this physical world of five elements. When this spiritually powerful soul first came onto the earth to play its role on earth, its purity was naturally seen through the physical body, in the form of divine qualities and actions filled with these qualities.
Slowly as it came down in the cycle of birth and rebirth, it started falsely identifying itself with its physical body and forgot its eternal identity of that of a soul. It started getting attracted to the five senses and other physical human beings and sense objects that it came across in its journey. The golden deer which had attracted Sita in the Ramayan is a symbolic representation of these attractions and the internal stage of soul-consciousness is shown in the form of the Lakshman Rekha which Sita had crossed. This led to her getting kidnapped by Ravan and getting separated from Ram. The episode of kidnapping of Sita by Ravan refers to the kidnapping of the soul by the forces of Evil or the five vices namely lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego. It is believed that Ravan, was also called Dashanan, which means the one who has ten heads. It is physically impossible for such a human being to exist. So, these ten heads surely have a symbolic and deep spiritual importance, which we seem to have forgotten. The ten heads symbolize the five vices in men and five vices in the women of today.

💧The most colorful event of the Water Forum and the only one available to everyone, tourists and expats missed out. There were fewer spectators at the carnival than participants.
🐲 The carnival was conceived as a kind of live exposition with Balinese cultural attractions. Dancing, theatrical skits, music, costumes - all elements of national identity, epic, art. It was noisy, energetic and very spectacular.
🎤 Among the honored spectators were spotted, for example, Indonesia's Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno - pictured in the center with a Balinese headdress. The man on his right hand is Dewa Made Indra, Bali's provincial regional secretary.

🤫 Details on the powertrain are not yet available. The electric MINI Cooper SE offers a choice of a 184bhp motor with a 40.7kWh battery and a 218bhp motor with a 54.2kWh battery. Obviously, the JCW version will prove more powerful.
📆 Nevertheless, while it will be presented in motion, proving that it can cope with the occasional thrashing, the new MINI JCW E PROtotype won't be fully uncovered at the event. Instead, the car manufacturer says it will debut later this year and reminds its fans that the JCW lineup will include both battery-electric and gasoline-fed models.
