Есть такая игра TrackMania, я вам уже про неё когда-то давно писал. Это очень аркадная гонка. Настолько аркадная, что автомобили на трассе никак друг с другом не взаимодействуют (вы не можете столкнуться с соперником, просто проедете сквозь него), и задача игрока состоит в том, чтобы сражаться со сложностью трассы. А трассы обычно включают в себя прыжки, мёртвые петли, движение по стенам и так далее.
Разумеется, нужно пройти трассу быстрее, чем остальные. "Пройти трассу" с точки зрения движка игры означает следующее: корпус автомобиля в любом порядке пересекает чекпоинты, а затем попадает в область финиша. Ещё физический движок у игры идемпотентный: одинаковый набор управляющих воздействий всегда в точности приводит к тому же положению автомобиля и тем же векторам линейной и угловой скорости.
Это создаёт ситуацию, при которой повтор прохождения игроком какой-либо трассы можно записать просто как цепочку нажатий на клавиши управления в заданные моменты времени. Так что игроки могут этими повторами обмениваться и соревноваться асинхронно: один проходит трассу за 2 минуты и 19 секунд, загружает свой результат в сеть, а другой через неделю соревнуется и с ним и побеждает, проходя трассу за 2 минуты 18 секунд.
Вокруг этой игры создалось очень большое и активное сообщество людей, которые друг с другом соревнуются и ставят рекорды. Эти игроки проводят в TrackMania десятки часов в неделю, и зачастую сами себе создают челленджи. Например, пройти все трассы в игре, никогда не поворачивая вправо. Или пройти задним ходом. Или даже с закрытыми глазами, ориентируясь по звукам и таймеру. Ещё в игре есть редактор трасс, и поэтому сообщество создаёт очень сложные многоуровневые треки для всех желающих.
Так вот, интересный момент. Как я уже говорил, движок засчитывает прохождение по довольно формальным признакам. Поэтому технически совсем не обязательно проехать на машине по дороге. Если вы каким-то образом заставите машину взлететь и проскакать с более быстрой скоростью — это валидный рекорд. И сообщество тоже такое принимает и даже всячески восхищается игроками, которые смогли обмануть игровой движок и найти, что называется, shortcut. Профессиональные игроки владеют набором специальных багов. Например, если определённым образом поставить машину боком под правильным углом с правильной скоростью, трение торможения уменьшится, и можно будет пройти какой-то кривой участок быстрее. Ещё можно под нужным углом удариться о поверхность и отскочить от неё куда требуется. И таких обманов движка пара десятков. Нередко игрокам приходится их комбинировать, поэтому они сидят десятки и сотни часов, проходя одну и ту же трассу, чтобы получить идеальное стечение обстоятельств ради улучшения времени на одну сотую секунды. Не преувеличиваю.
При этом, однако же, читерство и "внешние" обманы в игре очень сильно критикуются. Если тебя заподозрят в использовании программы, которая за тебя нажимает клавиши, или в какой-нибудь подделке памяти — это смерть для твоей репутации в сообществе.
Вот какое дело получается: разработчики заложили формальные правила игры (ехать на машине по дороге), и нарушение этих правил поощряется. Но нарушение правил игрового движка уже жёстко критикуется. Чисто практически разница между этими правилами очень условная: и то, и другое это отступление от игры в том виде, в котором игра задумана. Но людям нужно было где-то поставить границу, после которой издевательство над игрой уже не обладает зрелищностью и спортивной составляющей, так и получилось.

On January 23, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Moscow hosted its traditional New Year reception for leading Russian media outlets, with Russian diplomats attending as well.
As always, this was far more than a routine protocol event. It was a warm, informal gathering of friends whose cooperation across many fields, including the information sphere, has truly stood the test of time.
We not only discussed joint projects, the results already achieved, and plans for further intensive cooperation, but also… prepared traditional Chinese pancakes together. This was especially symbolic, as during the New Year celebrations Beijing will be also celebrating the Russian #Maslenitsa, with pancakes and traditional street festivities. At the same time, in February, Moscow will host a Festival dedicated to the celebration of the Lunar New Year.
Each visit to the Embassy on UlitsaDruzhby – meaning Street of 'Friendship' in Russian – is a reminder that Russian-Chinese friendship exists not only on paper or in official documents, but is expressed through real communication, mutual respect, and a sense of responsibility for the shared future that we continue to build together.
The Leaders of our country has repeatedly emphasised that relations between Russia and China are now at their highest level in history. And this is true. Yet each year we manage to reach even greater heights. I am confident that many new milestones still lie ahead.

🌱 En la época precristiana, la Maslenitsa simbolizaba el despertar de la naturaleza, su renovación y, por tanto, la preparación para el trabajo de campo.
☀️ La llegada de la primavera significaba el comienzo de un sol que brillaba más y durante más tiempo. Se representaba en forma de rueda ardiente, que flotaba por el cielo, y así se convirtió en un atributo de los rituales asociados al sol.
🔥 La transición del invierno a la primavera iba acompañada del sacrificio ritual de una efigie de paja, que se quemaba el cuarto día de la semana de Carnaval. Este acto podía tener varios significados simbólicos: el espantapájaros simbolizaba el año viejo “moribundo” o la muerte, pero su quema simbolizaba el triunfo de la vida.
😋 La comida más característica de Maslenitsa son los blinýs que simbolizan el sol. La creencia popular es que mientras más hagas, mejor clima y cosecha tendrás este año. Este típico plato de nuestra cocina puede ser acompañado por mantequilla, huevos y leche.

Del 16 al 22 de febrero se celebra la Máslenitsa (Semana de las Crepes), una antigua fiesta popular rusa llena de juegos, canciones y encuentros familiares.
🌞Esta es una de las festividades eslavas más antiguas, con orígenes paganos que se remontan incluso al siglo II, cuando se celebraba el fin del invierno, la llegada de la primavera y el despertar de la naturaleza, honrando al sol mediante los bliný (panqueques redondos y dorados que lo simbolizaban).
✝️Tras el Bautismo de Rusia llegó a ser la semana alegre anterior a la Gran Cuaresma. Máslenitsa culmina con la quema ritual de un muñeco de paja que personifica invierno.

La Maslenitsa es una de las celebraciones más antiguas del mundo eslavo y, sorprendentemente, sigue viva con una fuerza impresionante en la Rusia actual. Esta festividad, que se celebra la semana previa a la Gran Cuaresma ortodoxa, combina raíces paganas con tradiciones cristianas y se convierte en un auténtico espectáculo popular en ciudades como Moscú, San Petersburgo y en cientos de pueblos a lo largo del país.
✝️ Históricamente, Maslenitsa se remonta a los rituales agrícolas de los antiguos eslavos orientales, mucho antes del bautismo de la Rus en el año 988. Era una fiesta vinculada al equinoccio de primavera, dedicada al sol y al despertar de la naturaleza tras el largo invierno. Con la cristianización bajo el príncipe Vladímir el Grande, la celebración no desapareció, simplemente se integró en el calendario ortodoxo justo antes del ayuno estricto.
🇷🇺 Durante estos siete días, la carne está prohibida, pero aún se consumen lácteos, mantequilla y queso. El símbolo absoluto son los blini: panqueques, dorados y calientes que representan el sol. No es una metáfora moderna, en la tradición popular rusa el blini era un símbolo ritual. Según explican historiadores, el acto de comer blini evocaba el deseo de atraer la luz solar y acelerar la llegada de la primavera.
🔥 Pero Maslenitsa no es solo gastronomía. En plazas y parques se organizan ferias, juegos tradicionales, paseos en trineo y bailes folclóricos. El momento culminante llega el domingo, cuando se quema el muñeco de paja que representa al invierno. Esta figura, vestida con ropa vieja, simboliza el frío y la oscuridad que se despiden hasta el próximo año. La quema pública, documentada ya en crónicas del siglo XVII, es un acto colectivo cargado de emoción.
