В основном с друзьями играем в евро-настолки (стратегии на менеджмент ресурсов), но тут захотелось чего-то нового, и мне посоветовали Звёздные Войны: Внешнее Кольцо. Я, признаться, не фанат мифологии SW при всей своей любви к фантастике. Мне гораздо больше заходят вселенные вроде Startrek и Battlestar Galactica. А Star Wars делают мало акцента на вещах, традиционно любимых гиками — наука, технологии, особенности устройства общества будущего. Вообще это фентези-сага о магии и пиратах, просто в космосе. Однако, сюжетная настолка мне понравилась. Вы с другими игроками перемещаетесь на кораблях по космосу (который здесь представлен полукольцом) и попадаете в различные приключения. Плюс игры, в отличие от евро, в том, что ситуации действительно разные, неожиданные, каждая со своим сюжетным описанием. Минус ровно в этом же — после некоторого количества партий ты просто будешь знать все существующие карточки. Понятно, что такие игры выпускают под будущие дополнения. Но мы играем не очень часто и не всегда именно в неё, так что конкретно в моей компании хватит надолго. В остальном классическая система навыков персонажа — прокачиваешь себе, например, силу, и дальше попадаешь в заварушку в духе: «На вас напали разбойники. Вы пытаетесь свалить огромный ящик, чтобы защититься от выстрелов. Пройдите проверку на силу, при провале получите 2 повреждения». Чем выше прокачал — тем выше шанс пройти проверку (это бросок кубиков), но всегда есть вероятность провала, даже если ты очень сильный. Всё как в жизни. Очень легко представить себе, что ящик оказался тяжелее, чем ты думал, или, например, развалился от первого попадания. Сюжетные тексты + воображение + компания друзей = классное интерактивное времяпрепровождение, нередко интереснее, чем видеоигры. В первой партии я смог купить Сокол Тысячелетия и даже взять себе в экипаж Чубакку, но игру всё равно не выиграл. Уже хочется попробовать ещё. #games
