Умные колонки, пожалуй, самые недооценённые из устройств нашего времени. В том смысле, что, не имея личного опыта использования, многие люди считают их чем-то совершенно бесполезным и не видят способа применения в своей жизни. Но, получив этот опыт, зачастую остаются очень довольны, а иногда и не понимают, как жили без них. У меня далеко не один знакомый, прошедший по этому пути: кому-то колонку подарили, у кого-то купил другой член семьи, а кого-то даже уговорил на покупку ваш покорный слуга. Во всех без исключения случаях колонка (в отличие, например, от 3D принтера и тем более от VR очков) не пылится где-то на антресолях, а вполне себе используется с завидной регулярностью. Казалось бы, вот вам и ответ на вопрос в заголовке: нужна. Но не всё так просто. Я тоже не случайным образом выбирал, кого именно пытаться уговорить. Google kicks off its $15 billion data centre hub near Visakhapatnam on April 28 with three campuses, 601 acres allocated, Adani Infra as implementation partner, three SPVs formed, submarine cables and metro fibre infrastructure planned, and a 1 GW combined capacity expected to be commissioned by July 2028. 心血来潮测了下 gemini vs chatGPT-4o 刷题，扔了道 leetcode medium 进去，发现体验还是有细微差别的。 Gemini：rich format 做得很好，有 data source, double checked with google search，“你可以去哪哪哪试试这个 code”等花哨功能。不愧大厂人多闲工夫多。 GPT-4o: Code 风格我更喜欢一点（但质量区别不大），还给了不错的 test case 感觉教学效果不错。但是贼啰嗦，也没啥 rich format 更别说 data source 了。 但换到 system design 的赛道，GPT 的啰嗦就占了优势。但是 streaming 出字也太慢了，对这种流示装人打字风潮真是毫无耐心。 整体感觉 Gemini 比早年试 bard 的时候还是强了很多的，平时可以多互换着用一用。 #AI#tech#coding

象上看到这个 startup graveyard 好好玩，收藏了一千多个失败的 startup，不但有案例本身还有一些数据分析，比如存活时常和失败原因等，还给了 FAQ 解答一些高频提问（比如 FTX 为啥挂了，UI 设计特色蛮鲜明的，还可以增加尸体或者提交 feature request。让我想起了 killedbygoogle #fun#tool#tech#长毛象
