摘要：莫名从缅甸政变联想（胡思乱想）并找到了缅甸高考（准确的说是自主招生）卷子。之后想起了此前看日本高考卷的感受。又谈了谈化学所使用的英语词汇。最后说了一下怎么把英语学活，学以致用。鉴于中文互联网环境的恶化，我对大家积极学习、使用英语乃至于避免使用中文的做法表示理解，我感同身受。（全文约1500字） 莫名从缅甸政变联想（胡思乱想）并找到了缅甸高考（准确的说是自主招生）卷子： 缅甸政变 --> 缅甸以前是英国殖民地，我似乎在哪里听说过缅甸的中学和大学现在各科教学仍然是用英语课本的 --> 既然如此，出于好奇就去搜一下吧-->连接在墙内网，懒得开梯子，索性用bing.com国际版搜 --> 在Image search搜了Myanmar textbook highschool english关键词，只有一些纯缅甸语的课本以及缅甸人上英语课用的课本 --> 改搜-Myanmar textbook grade 10-->还是和刚才一样 --> 搜myanmar university entrance exam paper --> 出现了很多印度高校的卷子 --> 从Image search切换到All网页搜索 --> 找到了缅甸信息技术学院 Myanmar Institute of Information Technology 的 入学考试页面 --> 有个示例试卷链接很醒目，写着MIIT Entrance Exam Sample Question Paper --> 点开 卷子链接 --> 果然是英文的 --> 一共17页试卷，100道题都是选择题，每题4个候选项 --> 物理20道，化学20道，数学30道，英语40道 --> 发现有一些题能看懂甚至会做，哈哈哈，真有成就感 等等，冷静一下。我不是在复习中国的高考么，为什么在做缅甸的高考题？刚才发生了什么？ 回忆一下刚才发生的事情，啊，想起来了，刚才从缅甸的新闻不小心想到了缅甸的学校使用的教学语言，为了满足好奇心不知不觉就找到这里来了。又浪费了十多分钟。 想起了此前看日本高考卷的感受： 上次出于好奇做这种莫名其妙的事情，是找到了 センター試験（日本高考，senntaa sikenn）的试卷。乍一看试卷很亲切，很多汉字词都是认识的，尤其是 生物试卷 ，大量术语甚至与中文完全一样，当年鲁迅去日本学医时上生物课想必也是这种感受。 虽然第一印象亲切，但是完全看不明白题目在问什么，毕竟我基本没有学过日语，只是拜汉语所赐认识了一些中日同型同义 / 近型近义的词汇，连成句子就读不懂了。 化学所使用的英语词汇： 这与看英语的试卷或教材体验完全相反。英语初看起来总觉得陌生和发怵，仔细一看还是容易读懂的，毕竟学了十多年了，课余时间也会看一些与学科相关的英文内容例如Wikipedia等。化合物、元素的英文名虽然没有特意背过，但在这个过程中也算混了个脸熟。 化学元素的英文名 其实很好认，因为元素符号大多是根据英文名制定的，长得很像。比如Magnesium，读起来觉得M和g这两个辅音很耳熟，没错，这就是Mg镁。Helium，首字母的He眼熟，嗯，还真是He氦。还有Nitrogen-N-氮，Aluminum-Al-铝，Neon-Ne-氖，Silicon-Si-硅都是用首字母作为元素符号的。 扯远了，不小心从英语扯到了日语和化学，暂时到此为止。 把英语学活，学以致用： 学英语并不枯燥。大多数人觉得枯燥，是因为只学如何解答英语试卷，没有去学习用英语解决生活中的问题，把英语学死了。 怎么把英语活学活用？用英语怎么解决生活问题？举个例子。 倒时差 --> 在百度上用中文搜 --> 结果不少，但有点担心其可靠性。毕竟百度在医疗领域名声不好，“看病上百度”差不多是“赶快进坟墓”的同义词了。搜索结果都是一些可靠性未知的网站 --> 看完之后更失眠了 倒时差 --> 不知道如何用英语描述倒时差，在Google上用英语搜time zone different fly sleep --> 从搜索结果内容发现失眠这个词在英语中的学术称呼是Jet lag --> 在Google上用英语搜Jet lag --> 有 Mayo Clinic（梅奥诊所，世界顶尖医院），CDC（美国疾控）, NHS (英国公共医疗）等很多可信渠道的资料。 --> 点进页面，非常清爽，都是说正事的，没有乱七八糟的医院广告、药品推荐、“名医”在线问诊，下载app方可查看之类的东西 --> 从页面上了解一些缓解失眠的可靠方法 中文互联网网页质量越来越低，中文搜索引擎越来越难以搜出有效结果，贡献中文高质量公开内容的网友越来越少。面对这种资讯枯竭的局面，我们可以靠学好英语、活学活用英语来获取高质量的信息。 又扯远了，从化学扯回了英语。不知不觉又写出了一大篇没有条理的内容，想到哪里写到哪里，文字随着思维跳跃在各种内容之间，以至于读者可能难以看明白。 这篇日记/流水账/随笔/感想……就先写到这里吧。 鉴于中文互联网环境的恶化，我对大家积极学习、使用英语乃至于避免使用中文的做法表示理解： 很久以前，我曾经不理解一些海外华人小孩不愿意学中文的想法。现在我感同身受，完全理解了。不仅理解他们，也理解了一些在中国却在博客 / Channel / README .md(Github) / 个人网站 / 学习 / 搜索……完全使用英语的人。你们没错，错的是中文互联网环境。 写的内容太多，返回去补上摘要和各部分小标题 好，已补全，到此为止。 #Biology#Chemistry#Chinese#Comment#ComputerScience#English#Experience#Feeling#Japan#Japanese#Language#Learning#Life#Mathematics#News#Original#Physics#Technology#Thought
