The Islamic Resistance is committed to defending its land and people, especially with the "israeli" enemy exceeding the borders with its criminality; this is the least duty to restrain it and prevent it from pursuing its dangerous goals against Lebanon as a state, a people, and a resistance.

🟡🟢 Hezbollah: — A statement issued by Hezbollah in response to US sanctions: What was issued by the US Departments of State and Treasury regarding sanctions targeting elected Lebanese deputies, officers in the army and General Security, and officials in Hezbollah and the Amal Movement is an American attempt to intimidate the free Lebanese people in order to bolster the zionist aggression against our country. It is an attempt to give it an illusory political boost after the failure of its crimes to dissuade the Lebanese from exercising their legitimate right to resistance in defense of their homeland. The accusation leveled by the US administration against our deputies and officials is their refusal to disarm the resistance and their opposition to the surrender projects that the US administration is trying to drag our country into for the benefit of the zionist entity. This accusation applies to the majority of the people who are committed to the resistance and reject surrender. These sanctions are a badge of honor on the chests of those included in them and further confirmation of the correctness of our choice. In their effects, they are not worth the ink with which they were written, and they will have no practical impact on our choices or on the continued work of our brothers and officials in the framework of serving their people and defending their interests and sovereignty. As for targeting Lebanese officers on the eve of meetings at the Pentagon, it is a transparent attempt to intimidate our official security institutions and subjugate the state to the conditions of American guardianship. This decision is for those who claim friendship with the United States, which seeks to undermine national institutions. The Lebanese authorities must defend their constitutional, security, and military institutions to preserve national sovereignty and the dignity of Lebanon and the Lebanese people.

🟢 Hamas leader, Mahmoud Mardawi: — The Hamas leader, Mahmoud Mardawi, emphasized that the ongoing criminal zionist onslaught launched by the occupation against male and female prisoners, specifically the repeated raids, brutal repression, and verbal sexual harassment witnessed in the female prisoner sections of the zionist "Damun" prison, represents a moral decline and a complete stripping away of international laws, reflecting a systematic terrorist policy aimed at undermining the resolve of our female prisoners behind bars. Mardawi confirmed today, Thursday, that this blatant targeting and dangerous abuse of female prisoners does not only touch upon their individual freedom, but represents a flagrant assault on the dignity of the entire Palestinian people and all free people of the world, pointing out that these heinous crimes can no longer be met with mere verbal condemnation statements and faint denunciation, but rather require the formulation of a firm stance that rises to the level of the danger of the current stage and translates into actual and deterrent steps. The Hamas leader called for a broad popular and factional uprising to escalate all tools of support and backing for male and female prisoners in their battle against the tormentor, noting that the issue of the prisoners will remain at the forefront of national priorities that do not accept retreat or compromise, especially in light of the tragic and brutal conditions imposed by the occupation within the depths of the prisons. Mardawi called on all Islamic and national forces, as well as human rights and specialized institutions, at all local and international levels, to take urgent action and exert maximum pressure on the occupation authorities in all paths to ensure the safety of female and male prisoners, and to put an immediate end to this humanitarian suffering and flagrant violations before it is too late.

🇮🇷 Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei: — In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Commemorating the martyrs of the "May Journey" (the helicopter crash), headed by the President, the martyr Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Raisi, brings to memory the martyrdom of the caravans of servants of the people in the Islamic Republic of Iran, from Motahari, Beheshti, Rajai, and Bahonar, to Raisi, Al-e-Hashem, Amir-Abdollahian, and Larijani; hundreds of prominent figures who were raised in the school of the Great Khomeini and the dear Khamenei (may Allah exalt their noble station), and who adorned the record of sincere and jihadist service of the officials of the Islamic Republic with their blood-stained signature. Among the prominent features of the martyr Raisi were: assuming responsibility, empowering the youth, attention to justice, effective and useful diplomacy, and especially his popular nature; these characteristics inspired confidence in the friends of Iran, including the fighters of the powerful Resistance Front and many who are concerned for the system. All of this was, of course, blended with a spiritual essence rooted in the depths of his soul. Regarding the relationship between officials and the people, the effective positive characteristics led to mutual appreciation. Thus, his funeral procession took place alongside his master and the one he served, Imam Ali Al-Ridha (peace and blessings be upon him), in a magnificent scene rarely seen. The unfinished period of his presidency has formed a standard for measuring the magnitude of effort and concern for the people and the country, while maintaining its independence. Today, we stand before the epics written by the Iranian people in their unique historical resistance against two global terrorist armies. This increases the burden of the responsibility placed upon the shoulders of the officials of the Islamic Republic — from the leadership and heads of the branches to all administrative levels — more than ever before. Today, thanking the blessing of the harmony between the people, the government, and the other organs of the Islamic Republic lies in strengthening the motives of the officials, doubling their service and jihad, working to solve the country's problems, especially in the economic and living spheres, maintaining a direct field presence, and defining a serious role for the people who are rising to advance the country's path and moving with hope toward a bright future. May the mercy and contentment of Allah be upon the martyrs of the path of service, and may divine victory and the prayer of our Master (may Allah hasten his noble reappearance) be a support for the servants of the Muslim Iranian people. 20/05/2026

Over the course of this time, settlers invaded Palestinian-owned farmland and killed two local residents. Settler militias operate as an informal arm of the state: armed with military-issued weapons and riding ATVs and horses, they invade communities under the protection of military forces, who either turn a blind eye to the violence or take an active part in it. The violence in the South Hebron Hills is part of the policy of ethnic cleansing that Israel is implementing throughout the West Bank.
