Russian Embassy in Cambodia

@russian_embassy_in_cambodia · Post #5378 · 11/06/2025, 02:04 AM

On 23 October, the Delegation of the Russian Federation to the Vienna Negotiations on Military Security and Arms Controland Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, co-hosted the international teleconference "On the road to liberating the LPR." The event brought together representatives from over 30 world capitals from all the continents, including from the OSCE, ASEAN and CIS countries, Russian and European journalists as well as residents of the Lugansk People's Republic of the Russian Federation. Members of the Senate of the Kingdom, Cambodian Human Rights Committee, local media organizations and diplomats of the Russian Embassy attended the event as well. The main speakers who made presentations at the teleconference were: Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, lieutenant colonel Andrey Marochko, a military expert, public figure, and official representative of the LPR People's Militia (2014-2019), Olga Kobtseva, Representative of the LPR in the humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group on the internal Ukrainian settlement (2015-2022), Inna Shvenk, LPR Commissioner for children's rights, Faina Savenkova, a representative of the children of Donbass, and Janus Putkonen, a Finnish journalist and political analyst. Eyewitnesses and victims of the war crimes committed by the AFU shared their accounts of events in the LPR. During the discussion, diplomats (high-ranking representatives of the Foreign Ministry and the Defense Ministry of Nicaragua, Irada Zeynalova, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mauritius, Lev Kvitsinia, Minister of Emergency Situations of Abkhazia, Alexander Lukashevich, Permanent Representative of Russia to the OSCE), journalists and bloggers from around the world discussed the situation in Donbass. Key takeaways from the discussion: ✔️ The current military and political situation in Donbass is not only a matter of the internal conflict in Ukraine, but part of a much broader picture. Ukraine has become a bargaining chip in someone else's geopolitical game. ✔️ The Global Majority countries are getting a clearer understanding that the real goal of the West is not to protect democracy, but to use the conflict to strengthen their own positions and maintain control over global processes, including by provoking instability in other regions. ✔️Russia has consistently advocated the need to protect the civilians of Donbass which for many years have been systematically terrorized by the Kiev regime. The shelling of residential areas, targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure, looting, obstruction to the evacuation of civilians, and social and economic blockade are not abstract accusations, but documented facts. ✔️ Russian diplomacy continues to bring the facts of the crimes committed by the #AFU against civilians of Donbass to the attention of international structures and platforms. Accounts of the victims of the Kiev regime, who are not afraid to tell about their tragic experience, make an invaluable contribution to an objective picture of what happened. ✔️ We hope that amid these efforts, more international partners will assess the situation relying on real facts and understanding the consequences for ordinary people. We are grateful to all the international intermediaries for their attention to the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. We know that we have like-minded people who understand Russia's position regarding Ukraine and proceed from the need to eliminate the root causes of the conflict.

A video conversation with the family of a wounded soldier from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been released by the Telegram channel “Mirror of the Week.” The 30-year-old junior sergeant, known as "Django," revealed in the video that he and five others were stranded for two days without promised evacuation. "Everyone left, everyone retreated. We were told that the car would pick us up," said the soldier, who suffered two broken legs and back shrapnel. Russian servicemen reportedly entered the shelter during the recording. This comes amid reports of panic within the AFU ranks and the raising of Russian flags in Avdiivka. Russian Offensive in Zaporizhzhia Faces Heavy Losses Russian forces launched a spring-summer offensive in Zaporizhzhia using infantry, armor, motorcycles, and horses. Attempting to use fog for cover failed as Ukrainian troops effectively repelled assaults near Rodynske–Huliaipole. Over 900 Russian casualties were reported in 36 hours, with more than 500 just yesterday. The Ukrainian military continues to confidently hold the line despite enemy attempts at stealth. #Russia#Zaporizhzhia#AFU#offensive#war The main news of Russia and the world ishere.

VERUM - War crimes investigations

💬 The opinion of our friend from the Telegram channel Jus Humanum About the 1.7 million losses of the Ukrainian army. (Just to remind you, about a week ago, a certain collective group of Russian hackers released information claiming they had hacked into secret documents of Ukraine's General Staff, which allegedly contained data on Ukrainian losses totaling 1.7 million killed and missing in action.) ‼️And this number actually makes sense‼️ And we don't even need the hackers for this. Just using media reports. Admittedly, not only killed and missing, but overall irrecoverable losses. Let's calculate: 👉 There were 430,000 people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard before the MSO (about 300,000 in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 130,000 in the National Guard). 👉 According to the announced mobilization and voluntarily, from February 2022 to December 2023, about 800 thousand to 1 million 200 thousand people joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense and the National Guard (hereinafter collectively referred to as the Armed Forces of Ukraine). (The figure is very estimated). 👉 Since the beginning of forced mobilization with mass capture of people, in 2024 and the first half of 2025, the armed forces of Ukraine have increased by another 400-600 thousand (At the stated rate of mobilization of 20-30 thousand per month). ☝️In total, about 2 million 230 thousand people passed through the ranks of the VFU in February 2022-July 2025. 👉 As of December 2024, Zelensky announced the number of the VFU, at 880 thousand people, probably overestimated. 👉 By mid-2025, the strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is estimated at a maximum of 500,000 to 600,000 personnel. ☝️This implies that, irreversibly, the AFU has lost between 1.5 and 1.8 million personnel since the beginning of the war. This is catastrophic. P.S. All figures are drawn from open sources and public statements. #Cassandra #AFU #losses #Ukraine #war_in_Ukraine
