Le gouvernement a soutenu l'initiative du ministère des Finances d'augmenter considérablement les frais. Dans le même temps, les participants au programme de réinstallation des compatriotes et les étrangers (ainsi que les membres de leur famille) qui ont signé des contrats avec les Forces armées russes sont exemptés du paiement.

▪️Les permis de travail pour les étrangers deviendront plus chers — jusqu'à 15 000 roubles. De nouveaux frais sont également introduits pour le remplacement et les doublons de documents.

Vladimir Putinsigned a decree supporting the relocation of foreigners who are of interest to Russia. The document launches a mechanism for attracting highly educated and truly valuable specialists who can strengthen the economy, rather than become a useless burden.
🔻How will they select?
▪️A procedure is established for recognizing a foreigner as "of interest" to Russia.
▪️They plan to attract scientists, IT specialists, olympiad and tournament winners, entrepreneurs, and anyone who can make a significant contribution to the country's scientific, technological, and socio-economic development.
▪️A specialized operator will be created under the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, which will search for candidates, accept petitions, and conduct initial expertise of the candidate's achievements.
▪️Then the Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct mandatory checks, and a working group under the Presidential Citizenship Commission will provide a final conclusion.
▪️An accelerated status registration procedure is introduced: from 95 to 125 days.
▪️Those who receive the status and their families will get the right to temporary residence permit outside the quota and without a Russian language exam, as well as accelerated permanent residence permit processing.
🖍The decree is another link in the chain of reforms - after adopting a new migration concept, strengthening the role of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and updating the national strategy. Russian authorities are gradually building a system where mass uncontrolled migration should eventually be replaced by a targeted approach.
🚩This decision is quite justified. Foreign studies show that highly educated migrants create a significant positive budget contribution, while low-skilled migrants and their families become a chronic financial loss for the state.
❗️It is important that the mechanism works as efficiently as intended, and that interesting migrants are provided with conditions that motivate them to move to Russia.
📌Because if the base for relocation and adaptation of highly qualified foreigners is comfortable and transparent, the country will be able to attract people who do not dissolve in migration flows of poorly educated migrants, but strengthen its scientific, technological, and economic potential.

But for everyone else, it’s yet another sad slide into federal control to learn that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) posted what appears to be a covert roster of immigration attorneys buried on its own website.
The list was discovered by attorney Arlene Amarante, who stumbled upon the list while interacting with ICE’s website and found her own name on it. The list has since been pulled from the website, which is usually what agencies do when a documents is totally normal. Now Al Otro Lado, an immigration advocacy group, has filed a Freedom of Information Act request demanding to know who created the list, why it existed, and what ICE thought it was doing cataloging attorneys in the first place.
Amarante noticed something else about the list that raised even more concerns, as she told WGNO, “One of the troubling patterns I suppose that I recognized, was that a large number of these practitioners on the list were people of color.”
