The Honorary Consul of South Africa in Yekaterinburg, Sergey Mazurkevich, met with Yuri Biktuganov, Rector of Ural State Pedagogical University (USPU), to discuss opportunities for expanding collaboration.
💡 The meeting focused on developing joint projects between USPU and the Office of the Honorary Consul.
📚 In the 2024–2025 academic year, a student from South Africa, Boipelo Nkagisang, successfully completed a Russian language course at USPU.

📚 After last year’s merger with the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University, USPU became the largest pedagogical university in Russia.
👨🏫 The university is now led by Acting Rector Yury Biktuganov, who previously served as Minister of Education of the Sverdlovsk region. Not long ago, Honorary Consul of South Africa Sergey Mazurkevich and Mr. Biktuganov held a warm and productive meeting.
