📰NEWS | Two-year-old Maikelys Antonella Espinoza Bernal has been reunited with her family in Venezuela after being forcibly separated by US authorities. Thanks to efforts by the Nicolás Maduro government and talks with the Trump administration’s Special Envoy Richard Grenell, Maikelys was brought back from the US on a flight Wednesday morning. The child had spent a year in US foster care after her parents were detained upon entering the US in May last year. Her mother, Yorely Bernal Inciarte, was recently deported to Venezuela, and her father, Maiker Espinoza Escalona, was sent in March to El Salvador's CECOT prison.
