On $SOL & Trump Odds ∘ from prev post: $SOL is the closest major coin as proxy to a Trump victory ∘ begun with the president debate with Biden in Jun, then the assassination attempt and peaked at the RNC convention with crypto friendly JD Vance announcement in Jul ∘ in that period, $SOL rose 45%, dropped 30% from the peak (BoJ hike + NFP + carry / short vol unwind) then rebounded 20% yest ∘ correspondingly, $BTC rose 20%, dropped 20% from the peak then rebounded 12% yest 🔥 after everything, $SOL is outperforming $BTC by 10% ⚠️Taking Stock There are many tailwinds going for $SOL but considering from a more sober perspective: → there is an "Trump" premium embedded in $SOL (deregulation, ETF etc) more than other majors → but $SOL still outperforming the rest when Trump odds have been falling to lowest since debate → Dem odds likely continue until 22 Aug when DNC ends and the 2nd debate not till the 10-Sep (which Kamala probably >> Biden) → $SOL is quickly becoming the consensus trade, esp against $ETH on CT 🤔 I wonder if the cucked $ETH vs chad $SOL debate is masking of the disconnect of the "Trump premium" in $SOL to reality? Has $SOL ran too much wrt the other coins? Something to ponder about for the weekend. #view
