📰#tip: How to listen to voice messages without marking them as played?
🎤 All voice messages have a dot indicating that no one has listened to the message. You're probably familiar with the chat preview, which allows you to read text messages, but not voice messages. However, you can listen to them even without reading all the messages. To do this:
1. Open the chat preview.
2. Click on the avatar to access the chat profile.
3. Open the "Voices" tab.
4. Open the context menu for the desired voice message and forward it to "Saved Messages."
This allows you to listen to the voice message without marking it as «read».
💡 On TDesktop, you can right-click on the desired chat to open the profile.
📰 A week ago, a new service notification from +42777 appeared in case a channel or supergroup was transferred to you. 🏣 This message includes the channel name, username, a hyperlink to the @telegramtips post, and an explanatory note. ⌨️ The most interesting feature is the inline button, which allows you to unsubscribe from the owner's post and return it to the previous owner (EVEN if you haven't fulfilled the conditions for a regular transfer of rights). In this case, the previous owner will receive another service notification about this.
⚠️Channel Transfer Rejected: {CHANNELNAME}
You recently transferred ownership of channel {CHANNELNAME}@username to {user}.
The user has rejected the transfer, so the channel has been assigned back to you. You are the channel owner again and are responsible for its contents.
✅ This is useful for preventing a setup involving accusations of terrorism (this does happen), or if you don't want to take up unnecessary username slots, or if you're simply not ready to take responsibility for the chat.
#tip:
1. You can view all your chat ownership in TDesktop by right-clicking "My Channels" or "My Groups." You can even use the @WhatIOwnBot bot (from tginfo; API based, method not guaranteed).
2. You can see who owns a channel by opening Administrators or, better yet, Recent Activity.

#tip: 📰 Quoting is always better than just replying.
↩️ Update 10.2 with "Replies 2.0" brought quoting excerpts of texts, which made it very convenient to respond to certain words. But there are those moments that make it worth using it rather than just swiping a message to reply.
1. Quoting always preserves the context of the reply message. Few people know, but unlike simple replies to messages, the text you quoted will always be saved in your messages in reply blocks, even if some characters and words change in the replied messages. This, for example, helps a lot in controversial discussions, which your opponents can substitute for the context in the reply tray by simply editing messages. Please note that if you have highlighted a specific piece of text, and something has already changed in this message, an error will occur when sending it.
There are also some android clients who, even with a simple swipe on a message, always capture the entire text of the selected message for quoting. It is very convenient and practical.
2. As a rule, in the quoted blocks, instead of just answers, there is more area. This helps, for example, if other users did not have to click and go to distant messages, it is very useful if distant messages do not load after clicking on the quotes block. In regular replies to messages, there is always a small reply block, let alone a quote. You can also click on the quote block once to expand it, and the second time to go to the replied message.
📰Happy Halloween!#tip Who remembers animated emojis with sound? Let me remind you of the existing ones.

ℹ Recently, some emojis have lost sounds, and the playback of these sounds puts the playing music on pause.
#Tip📰 How to set up the same channel in different profiles?
1️⃣ Everyone must have a session logged in a day or more ago, and the cloud password must be at least a week old.
2️⃣ Go to profile editing, select the personal channel option, and choose the desired one.
3️⃣ Transfer channel ownership rights to the desired person. Go to Settings > Administrators, assign all rights, and select the dedicated button.
➖Repeat steps again until the original admin regains channel ownership rights.
4️⃣ If necessary, edit the channel admin rights for all affected admins.
The source (💌💌💌) reports that some people are reporting that Telegram developers are intentionally leaving this trick enabled. It's been working since the release.
#tip: Siri Shortcuts (part 1).📰 Today's tip is for Apple device owners who want to use a little-known integration to improve the seamless and quick sending of messages to contacts.
🦾The update with Shortcuts support was released back on June 23, 2019. With it, you can seamlessly send messages to your contacts. After that date, the feature stopped being updated, but at least the method still works.
📰 To get started, it's important to allow Telegram full access to your iPhone contacts and enable contact syncing within the messenger.
1. First, download the Shortcuts app.
2. Click the (+) to create your shortcut.
3. Search for "Telegram" and select the "Send Message" action to add it.
4. In this action, in the "Message" field, enter your message. Click "Ask Each Time" if you want to write your own message during activation.
5. In the "Recipients" field, you need to select the contacts themselves, not enter phone numbers—that won't work. "Ask Each Time" works similarly.
6. It's best to leave the "Show Compose Sheet" toggle unchecked.
✨ These are the basic steps for convenient message sending. From there, it's up to you. You can set up a shortcut in your iPhone's control panel, or you can create very useful commands with this basic action; the freedom in this app is limitless!
📰 What is the problem with the new feature of sending gifts on channels?
Undoubtedly, this new feature is good; it can be used as an alternative storage for gifts or for giveaways/auctions. However, it has been eight months since Telegram has not addressed possible issues with this update.
Here are the important points I highlighted:
1. Notifications for incoming sent gifts are disabled by default on all channels. This means admins may initially be unaware of gifts arriving on the channel. Importantly, the "gifts" tab is not the first in channel profiles (it is behind "stories"), so admins might not see or monitor changes in the profile and might scroll past it.
2. The notification option will only appear if the channel receives at least one gift. You will have to spend at least 15⭐️ for the button to appear, in case a spammer sends a gift before you.
3. The validity period from the moment a gift is sent is 7 days. This applies to accounts as well, especially those who rarely go online. Yes, there is an option to hide gifts, but you know, it won’t really help you because you will still want to somehow get rid of the gifts.
4. There is no control over incoming gifts. Unlike accounts, channels cannot block certain types of gifts and Telegram Premium (or rather giveaways). Channels will have to accept all premium gifts, even if they are intended for malicious purposes.
Why is this important? This was even addressed by the "Russian Cyber Police" which reports that illegal resources such as drug shops, casinos, and extremism are covertly advertised through gift captions. According to them, ignoring such situations may lead to channel blocks (complaints through Roskomnadzor).
#tip: regularly (at least once a week) check your channels, enable notifications, and sell such gifts.
