An interesting twist emerged with Nicola’s wedding dress. According to Brooklyn, Victoria Beckham canceled the gown’s production just before the wedding. As a result, we never got to see Nicola’s custom bridal dress by Victoria Beckham—ironically, it was set to be the first ever bespoke wedding gown in VB brand history. Still, the bride did wear her main ceremony dress. The look was overseen by stylist Leslie Fremar. A full year went into creating the dress: ongoing correspondence with Valentino’s couture team, two trips to the brand’s Rome headquarters, and two fittings in the U.S. Among her other wedding looks were a custom Dior suit by Kim Jones, and a made-to-order Versace gown worn for the reception—one that could have easily replaced the original Victoria Beckham design. But here’s the inconsistency: how could Victoria have canceled the dress at the last minute if Nicola’s primary gown was developed over a year with Valentino’s atelier? Here’s what we’d definitely lock away under seven seals: Zara’s new collection featuring photos of Kate Moss. Imagination (or the lack of it) really backfired here. All we see in these new pieces is a plain long coat and a T-shirt with… a literal square photo print of the model. We’re struggling to understand this step backward, especially considering Zara and Kate delivered a stunning collaborative line of eveningwear, “Into the night,” back in 2022. What’s your take? Is this a return of the printed-photo T-shirt era, or should we just forget this misfire like a bad dream? #fashion#zaraxkatemoss#katemoss#style FirstPass

Last week, Pete Davidson made a guest appearance — and even took the hosting reins — on his former home stage, Saturday Night Live. He stepped down a year ago from his role as a regular cast member and featured comedian on the show. Right now, TikTok’s biggest meme is a remix of “I’m Just Ken” from Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie. Pete flipped the track, casting himself as Ken. Highlights include sharp self-deprecation, jokes about past relationships, B.D.E., and the cherry on top — a nod to Pete’s recent accident. Guess how fast this song got stuck in your admins’ heads? 👀 #PeteDavidson#SNL#Barbie#IMJustKen#TikTokMeme FirstPass

We stumbled upon Austin Butler’s favorite books list and thought we’d share it — in case you’re on the lookout for new authors: 1. Jack Kerouac – On the Road Sal Paradise, young and wide-eyed, joins the delightfully reckless Dean Moriarty on a breathless cross-country journey across America. Their hedonistic quest for freedom or self-discovery—through alcohol, sex, drugs, and jazz—turns into a profound exploration of personal liberty and a challenge to the boundaries of the American dream. 2. J.D. Salinger – The Catcher in the Rye Told through the eyes of 16-year-old Holden Caulfield, this novel offers a raw, unfiltered take on his heightened awareness of American reality and his deep resistance to society’s norms and conventional morality. 3. Raymond Carver – What We Talk About When We Talk About Love A 1981 short story collection by the American writer and poet, edited by Gordon Lish—subtle, powerful, and deeply human in its portrayal of love, loss, and everyday struggles. 4. Veronica Roth – Impulse Set in a galaxy ruled by an Assembly of Chancellors from nine major planets, all living beings are connected by the Flow—a force granting supernatural abilities. Among them are the Destined, individuals whose fates are foretold by seers due to their crucial impact on humanity’s future. 5. Jack Gilbert – The Great Fires Austin’s favorite poet. This collection brings together poems written between 1982 and 1992—lyrical, intense, and rich with emotional depth. FirstPass

Without a doubt, we’re giving first place to Марко Заморе for the most atmospheric New Year’s apartment decor. All December, our editors watched as he meticulously assembled each piece of this one-of-a-kind holiday styling. Among our favorites: the cast-iron Christmas tree with candlewax drippings, and the beautifully styled arrangement of “frosted” branches in a vase in the living room. We highly recommend checking out Марко’s profile—immerse yourself in the vibe, and you might just steal a few ideas to make your own space feel even cozier. — want.zamora 🤍 FirstPass

As you know, Yana’s "favorites" on Avito has turned into a full-fledged museum: vintage furniture, archival collections of bags and clothing, accessories, books—and countless other treasures. So of course, something as iconic as Philippe Starck’s legendary Juicy Salif citrus squeezer has been on her radar for ages. Not sharing this would be nothing short of a crime. FirstPass
