Just 8 months after she joined the foundation and two months after GNOME people said she was hired for "her experience in fundraising"... GNOME's executive directer Holly Million steps down from the foundation: https://foundation.gnome.org/2024/07/12/gnome-foundation-announces-transition-of-executive-director/ Maybe don't hire a shaman next time? 😳

Why we don't cover software news on FOSS Post? Because it's pointless to repeat what the original source is already saying in its official release announcement. Other websites do this for clicks and views, but as a reader, you should always prefer getting news from the source rather than some recycled blogspam website. This is more prevalent in the open source world, where the source is probably more knowledgeable about their software than the journalist (random Internet guy, actually) reporting about it. Cover only stuff that matters, and leave the fluff to fluffy ones.🌹

Original developer of the "neofetch" CLI information program has archived all of his public repositories, saying that he "have taken up for farming". ☺️ It's definitely an interesting career shift; from software development to farming. 🙈 https://github.com/dylanaraps
