In 2014, Mozilla appointed the JavaScript creator as its CEO, only to fire him after 11 days after "discovering" his donations to anti-gay groups. Later on, he founded his own browser company and called it "Brave". Today, Brave has 59% as many users as Firefox. These users could have been Firefox users, had it not been for the short sight of Mozilla' leadership.
