Subsequently, she was persuaded to exchange cash for USDT at a physical exchange store in seven separate transactions, transferring the funds to the scammer's electronic wallet. Once the funds were secured, the scammer disappeared and cut off all communication. Police advise the public to exercise caution when forming online relationships.
